★ブッチが初めて手に入れたギターはどういうものでしたか？また今一番のお気に入りのギターを教えてください。

my first guitar was a Kay electric guitar that my uncle gave me. i immediately striped it like Eddie Van Halen with electrical tape. i broke off all but one tuning peg jumping around in front of the mirror. that guitar burned in the fire that took my home. my current most favorite? well you won't believe it, but it is a Kay! and almost the same exact year! i love it and it is so different than any other guitar that i own. so i guess i have come full circle!

★butch walker&...ではなく、新しくバンドを組んで活動するのでしょうか？ 

man if i had a dollar for overtime i got asked that. i don't think i am interested in reliving my past.. who is??? i mean, some people may like the way they USED to be, but me, i kinda like me NOW. i am proud of that band, and the sound that we produced, but i am in no way inspired by pop punk music anymore. that was YEARS AGO. but thanks for asking... and who knows.. maybe we will play a show for fun sometime.

★今回のアルバムでは二人のゲストヴォーカルと一緒に歌っていますが(#3 Don't you think?と#7 She likes?)、二曲ともブッチの声と曲にマッチしていて素敵ですね。作った時点で二曲ともデュエットする予定でいましたか？それとも、お二人と一緒に歌いたいと思い、この二曲をデュエットにすることにしたのですか？

haha thanks! i love the backup vocals on those songs and they were definitely planned for sure. we has a pretty good vision and stuck to it, as we are all singers in the Black Widows. i can't wait for you to hear the new record!!!

★新作のアルバムを聴いて改めてブッチはとても素敵に年を重ねているように感じました。色々なことを経験してこられて、今は音楽活動もプライベートもリラックスして楽しんでいるように見えます。私もそんな風に年を重ねたいものですが、ブッチが20代の頃は将来の自分にどんな理想をもっていました？今のような感じ？また、その自分の理想って変わっていきましたか？

i think when i was younger, i knew what i wanted to be, but i didn't think i would still be music or even relevant at all. i am so happy that i am still going! also, i NEVER thought i would produce records for other people for a living. it never crossed my mind. i thought i would just be in a club somewhere, getting drunk and playing music. i still do that, but with a house and a car of my own now!

★ソロ以降のアルバムの中で、ベストチューンを一曲ずつあげるとしたら、なんでしょうか？

i like me a lot so i like other songs, but this is just off the top of my head ;-)

★ブッチがこれからコラボレーションまたはプロデュースしたいアーティストは？

hmmmm... i am not sure because i am constantly inspired. i think i could make a fun record with someone maybe in Country music, but most of those records follow such a strict guideline... i don't know. maybe Cee-lo Green or Bruno Mars.

★日本盤がようやくリリースされて本当に嬉しいですが、本国では10ヶ月近く前に出ているんですよね。もう次のアルバムに取り掛かっているのでしょうか？何かファンとシェア出来るニュースはありますか？

yeah i am already doing a new record starting next week! very excited for you to hear it!!!!!!!!! it is gonna be a Black Widows rock n roll record!!! greasy and dirty, just like how we come off stage looking...
